How to Customize the Right Side of Start Menu

Follow These Step-by-Step instructions:

1. Right Click "Start" > Click "Properties".
 

2. Click "Customize".

3. Click "Advanced" Tab.


4. Under Start menu items section, choose the option* you want for the item (My Computer, My Documents, My Pictures, etc).
* Display as a link: when you click the item, it opens a new window (e.g. My Documents in the picture above)
* Display as a menu: it shows the submenus (e.g. My Computer in the picture above)
* Don't display the item: delete the item from the Start menu

6. Click "OK".

7. Click "Apply" and click "OK".
