How to automatically archive your e-mails with Outlook

Follow These Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Click "Tools" on the Menu bar. Scroll down to "Message Rules" and choose "Mail".

2. When the "New Mail Rule" window opens, click the boxes "Where the from line contains people" and "Move it to a specified folder". In the "Rule Description" portion at the bottom of the window, you will see two sets of colored text. First click the one which says "contains people".

3. The "Select People" window will open. Type the name of the contact you wish to archive and click "Add". Now click "OK". Next, click the second set of colored text which says "specified". Now choose the folder where you would like this contact's mail to be saved and click "OK".

4. Click "OK" in the "New Mail Rule" window, then again in the "Message Rules" window.

* Depending on versions of Windows, the process and result could be different.
