How to Lock Your Inbox in Outlook & Outlook Express

Follow These Step-by-Step instructions:


Outlook

1. Right click on "Personal Folder" and scroll down to "Properties."


2. Click on the "Advance" button.

3. Select "Change Password."

4. If this is your first time setting a password, leave the field for "Old Password" blank.

5. Click OK to set your password.

Outlook Express

1. Go to File > Identities > Manage Identities

2. Click on Properties.

3. Check the box for "Require a password" and hit "Change Password."

4. Type in your new password.

5. Click OK to set your password.

* When selecting a password be sure it is one you can remember because there will be no prompts to remind you if you forget.
