Gmail:
1. Select Settings from the Gmail navigation bar.

2. Under General Options scroll down to "Vacation Responder."

3.Enter in your message and save your changes.

Yahoo:
1. Select Options on the Yahoo! Mail navigation bar.
|
|
2.Under Management scroll down to Vacation Response.
|
|
3. Enter the start & end date of the auto responder.
4. Create message in the "Generic Response" that will be sent out as a reply to all incoming mail.

5. Another feature Yahoo! mail offers is to send out a Special Response message to two domains (ex. Yahoo, Gmail. This could be customized for your boss or your best friend.
